The Negros Oriental Hotel Resort Restaurant Association, Inc. (NOHRRA), in partnership with the Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (NOCCI), Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-Negros Oriental Provincial Science and Technology Office, and the Negros Oriental Food Safety Team (NOFST), initiated a six-day seminar series on Basic Food Safety to equip the local food business operators/handlers, particularly the NOHRRA members, with necessary knowledge and skills on the fundamentals of sanitation and proper handling in the food production, resulting to high food safety confidence, increased profitability, and zero food complaints.
This activity is part of NOHRRA’s thrusts for its food establishment members to provide the highest quality of food services to all its domestic and foreign customers towards attracting more tourists to visit and enjoy Negros Oriental. The seminar series was conducted on October 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, and 19, 2023 in Dumaguete City.
