Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCI) President Edward Du, together with NOCCI Executive Director John Jalandoni, participated in the Tamlang Valley Sustainable Agriculture for Growth and Resiliency (TVSAGR) Project Core Committee Meeting with Negros Oriental Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Myles Nicholas Bejar. Also present during the meeting were Provincial Economist Efren Carreon, Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator Engr. Ingo Ash Julian Mercado, and other members of the TVSAGR Project Core Committee.
NOCCI Joins TVSAGR Project Meeting for Sustainable Agriculture
In a concerted effort to promote sustainable agricultural practices and economic resilience in Negros Oriental, Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCI) President Edward Du, along with NOCCI Executive Director John Jalandoni, participated in the Tamlang Valley Sustainable Agriculture for Growth and Resiliency (TVSAGR) Project Core Committee Meeting. The meeting, held at the Governor’s Office in the Provincial Capitol of Dumaguete City, brought together key provincial leaders and stakeholders dedicated to the project’s success.
The TVSAGR Project aims to transform Tamlang Valley into a model of sustainable agriculture, focusing on growth, resiliency, and long-term economic benefits for the region. The initiative is a collaborative effort involving various provincial departments and organizations, emphasizing the importance of integrated approaches to sustainable development.
Edward Du, a prominent business leader, emphasized NOCCI’s commitment to supporting sustainable agricultural initiatives that align with the organization’s mission of fostering economic development in Negros Oriental. Du highlighted the potential of the TVSAGR Project to not only enhance agricultural productivity but also to create sustainable livelihoods for local farmers and communities.
John Jalandoni, known for his strategic vision in business and community development, provided insights into how NOCCI can contribute to the project.
