Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCI) Executive Director John Jalandoni paid a courtesy visit at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, USA. During ED Jalandoni\u2019s visit at the UN Headquarters, he met with a UN Officer for a discussion on the NOCCI\u2019s vital role in fostering local, national, and international economic cooperation.<\/p>\n

During the said meeting, the UN Officer conducted a briefing about the United Nations\u2019 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and on how NOCCI, as a local chamber in partnership with the Negros Oriental Investment Promotion Center (NOIPC), can create programs, activities, and projects aligned with the seventeen (17) SDGs. ED Jalandoni also showcased NOCCI\u2019s accomplishments over the decades which contributed in the attainment of the SDGs. The two parties also explored possible opportunities that will enable NOCCI to further help in attaining the UN SDGs.<\/p>\n
