The Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCI), led by President Edward Du, participated in the 49th Philippine Business Conference and Expo (PBC&E) held at The Manila Hotel, Manila. Also part of NOCCI\u2019s delegation to the PBC&E were Executive Director John Jalandoni and Executive Assistant Rowie Limbaga.<\/p>\n

The PBC&E, an annual business conference organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), is the prime avenue for the leaders of both government and private sectors to have a dialogue on key policy issues concerning business as well as the country\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s conference theme, \u201cVision 2050: The Philippines, A First-World Economy,\u201d is a manifestation of a country that rises as a middle-income country before 2028; achieves most of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and addresses the challenges of poverty, inequality, infrastructure, corruption, criminality, and climate change by 2030; joins the list of fist-world countries by 2040; and ranks as one of the top 20 economies in the world by 2050 (Palafox, 2023).<\/p>\n

On October 24, 2023, prior to the PBC&E Proper, the Chamber Management Forum (CMF) was conducted wherein the local chamber of commerce and industry (LCCI) leaders shared their best practices on managing and developing an LCCI.<\/p>\n

In a demonstration of proactive engagement and commitment to shaping the economic future of the Philippines, the Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCI), under the leadership of President Edward Du, took part in the 49th Philippine Business Conference and Expo (PBC&E) held at The Manila Hotel, Manila. This influential event, organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), serves as a crucial platform for leaders from both government and private sectors to engage in dialogues on key policy issues impacting business and the nation’s economy.<\/p>\n

As a precursor to the main conference, the Chamber Management Forum (CMF) on October 24, 2023, provided a platform for local chamber of commerce and industry (LCCI) leaders to share best practices.
